With such a convex front element to this lens it means it is practically impossible to attach a filter to the lens. Given this focal range is ideal for landscape photographers and the frequency in which they use filters this was a significant draw back of what is a superb lens.

So we have in production now a range of filters that are design specifically for this lens. Instead of attaching to the lens thread they are attached to the lens hood!

All the filters, with the exception of the IR filters, are made using our market leading X4 series glass.

16 MRC Layers
