Born in Miami Beach and now based in London, Dan is a designer, photographer, co-founder of webgraph, a multi-disciplinary studio based in the US, and ICd, a design and brand strategy studio based in the UK.

Former Creative Director at MOO and a member of 100camera' Board of Creatives, Dan’s practice focuses on usability and sustainability, alongside a documentary approach to brand storytelling.

In addition to helping startups and established organizations improve their products and services, Dan speaks at events including SXSW, The Photography Show, WPPI, Smashing Conf, and the Mobile World Congress, leads workshops for Leica Akademie, Apple, Kodak, Polaroid, Ilford, and Fujifilm.

One of the original Instagram beta-testers and a speaker at the world’s first mobile photography conference, Dan travels the world on photographic commissions for select clientele including Alfa Romeo, American Express, Apple, Barbour, Courvoisier, Ducati, Land Rover, Leica, The Macallan, Nissan, O2, RedBull, Rémy Cointreau, Sony, Starwood Hotels, Travel + Leisure, Williams Martini, and more.

A recurring juror for the International Photography Awards and a WPO Academy member, Dan’s first photographic book, Koya Bound (Winner, AIGA Cover Design Award, 2017), was published in 2016 by Pre/Post in Japan.
