Gabrielle Guy is a British Caribbean award-winning portrait photographer and human geographer currently based in the West Midlands. She is doing a Geography PhD at the University of Nottingham.
Her work is committed to authentic storytelling about the connections between objects, people, their environment, food, and wellbeing.
Using a Pentax 6x7, Gabrielle embraces a calculated yet intentional shooting style. With this approach, it is her mission to connect intimately with her subjects while telling their stories with dignity. Gabrielle's portrait work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and she won the prestigious Portrait Award, Portrait of Britain in 2024.
