After completing the NCTJ Photojournalism course in Sheffield, I won a scholarship with The Times newspaper in 2003. In 2006, I secured a staff position at Agence France-Presse before joining the staff editorial team at Getty Images in 2016, covering news, features and politics in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. I've worked on everything from war zones to Royal weddings, music festivals to General elections, winning a number of awards over the years, most recently a Judges Special Award in the World Press Photo 2024 for an image from my work covering the Middle East conflict.
